Responding to Some More Reviews From Our Customers

We get a lot of reviews here at the Bedbug Store. Every so often we like to take a little bit of time to respond to our customers. Most of the time the reviews will be pretty simple, the bulk of which is “great stuff” and “works great” reviews. Other times our customers bring up some concerns that we think it’s very important to address.
Today we start off with one from John K., one of our verified buyers.
“The spray seems to be helping quite a bit. I see few if any bugs on my bed and have not noticed any recent bites. The futon in the front room of the apartment needs to be cleaned and retreated about every week/week and a half or else it starts to re-infest. The overall number of bugs is down considerably, however, some remain, and further work is still needed. The spray does seem to have good effectiveness where and when used.”

Glad you wrote it, John, because we might be able to help you out and actually save you some money. We’re glad you’re seeing fewer bed bugs, especially on your bed. That’s certainly the place you want to hit hardest because your bed should be a comfortable place, not one where you wake up wondering if you’re going to have itchy spots when you wake up.
But that futon, that’s the problem spot that you really need to hit. If you’re spraying it every week and a half, you’re going through quite a few bottles of our bed bug spray. Sure, you’re keeping them at bay, but it’s going to be a long, perpetual battle that might never end. What you’re going to want to do is hit them as hard as possible from every angle. We’d suggest our Super Pack because for under $200 you’re really going to send them running. It not only comes with a gallon of bed bug killing spray (which you’ve been buying anyway), but also crawling bug dust, a UV light, a steamer, a microscope, and eight-bed bug traps to ensure they’re not crawling up the legs of the futon. In the end, it will more than pay for itself.
(Better yet, if you can afford it, throw the futon away in the dumpster, spray the carpet and put down some bug dust before you buy another one. Be sure to cut up and break up the futon outside of your apartment so that no one sees it and thinks “hey, free futon,” thus infecting another home.)
Also, we notice that you say you’re in an apartment. If you follow all of the above advice and are still having problems, it could be coming from a neighboring apartment that has an untreated bed bug problem. That means no matter how hard you try, they’re going to keep coming back from across the hall. It might be a good idea to talk to your neighbors, or at the very least put down some of those bed bug traps and dust at any point where they might be getting to your apartment.
Okay, let’s see what another verified customer has to say.
"Well, I was simply amazed by this product. This product works fast and I haven't seen a bed bug in two weeks. Going to spray again just to be on the safe side. I tried using other products and I was about to call an exterminator! Thank you for this product. It really works! I will definitely tell my friends about it if they ever have any bed bugs problems."
— Armando R.
Alright, more bugs dead! Thank you for leaving us a five-star review, Armando, but we’re even happier to hear about your bed bug success story. Isn’t it a great feeling to be so relieved after the worries that come with having bed bugs?
First of all, you’re right to spray again. While you might have killed the first batch, the next generation of bed bugs could be in egg form in nooks and crannies, or they could still be transparent larva that is too hard to see. While we hope that they’re all gone, it’s better to use bed bug spray like ours a little too much than a little too little. Take our bed bug insecticide and make sure to get in the corners and any crevices in the wooden parts of the bed, and hit the mattress again.
Even after you have sprayed a second time, be vigilant in checking the creases and seams of your bed. You might also want to get some bed bug traps to put around the feet of the bed. Not only will this catch any traveling bed bugs, but it can be an indication of infestation-if you find some in the traps, it’s time to looks a little more closely on the bed.
Also, we’re very glad that we saved yours from an exterminator. As we mentioned in this blog, exterminators can work, but it often takes multiple treatments of harsh chemicals. And as we mentioned in the same article, there’s no guarantee that the chemicals will work. They’re also quite expensive, and if you go the heat treatment route then it’s going to cost you around $2,000.
Finally, we really do hope that you tell your friends about us. For most businesses, word-of-mouth is how they get most of their business. Unfortunately, with most people being (unnecessarily) ashamed of having bed bugs, they’re just not likely to bring it up in casual conversation. So like hemorrhoid cream and ED pills, we really don’t get a lot of word-of-mouth. Still, if the opportunity arises, thanks for letting others know about us.
Okay, let’s take a look at one more:
"This product really works I sprayed my couches and the room that I saw a few bed bugs on and I have not seen them anymore and it didn't take much but a few sprays. The smell is not that great but it fades after a few hours great product I recommend this to anyone."
— Ricky S.
Alright, another win for the Bed Bug Store! It sounds like you got them right at the beginning, because if it only to a few sprays then you must have been seeing the first generation of them. Sorry, you didn’t like the scent; some people do, some people don’t. Again, our natural bed bug spray isn’t toxic to people or pets, so whether you leave the room or not really doesn’t matter. But hey, once you spray them, why not head out to eat as a way of congratulating yourself for getting your bed bug problem under control!
We love hearing what our customers have to say, and we’re sure that we’ll be back in the future with more reviews. Until then, be sure to check out all of our great bed bug treatment products!

"I had a chance to use this a couple of days ago. I had been sick and had not kept up on my spraying every couple of days to keep them away. I previously used a different brand. When I check, there they were again! I used this and after 3 days they are still gone! It works, smells good, and the pump actually works (it doesn't on other ones I've bought). The booklet they included with the purchase was very informative and helpful as well. I highly recommend this product."

“Naturally I freaked out when I found bed bugs. I called two exterminators, received estimates of $1,700-$2,650 which I would have paid until I started researching other methods and saw the reviews on this product. Vacuumed thoroughly, sprayed as directed, encased box spring and mattress. Repeated vacuum and spray a week later. So far so good!!"

“This stuff works great for various types of insects, especially bugs, kills them quick! It has an overwhelming peppermint smell, which is great compared to any other type of poison. Has not affected my animals at all. Great product!!"
