The cream is gritty, like a scrub, so that is how I used it. I applied it, left it on for a while and then rinsed with warm water and it worked fine. I read many reviews. After being diagnosed with scabies. I already did a round of prescribed 5% permethrin topical and **** invermectin. A week after the second treatment cycle, I was still having red, rashy skin and itching like crazy. When I discovered that the active ingredient in this product (sulpha-based ingredient) was highly rated and considered more effective than what I had been prescribed, I decided I had nothing to lose. I ordered the large jar. It arrived quickly. I opened the jar and the scent was very mild--not intense like some have described, almost a lemony scent. I applied it before bed. My itching is worst at night. Even using Cerave Anti- itch lotion doesn't completely stop it. It's been an hour since application. Other than a slight tingling sensation, all is well, and I'm NOT ITCHING. Today is 4/13/24. I'll update my review in a few dayswith my experience. I hope this will finally get rid of this problem. Scabies ****.

very good. my wife had a itchy red rash. her doctor thought it might be a fungus, so prescribed ketoconazole topical. it made her break out really bad. doctor figured she was allergic to it so stopped using it and said try benadryl. she started taking **** benadryl but it only slightly lessened the itch and did nothing for the rash. bought Mite-B-Gone 10% sulfur cream. at first it took away most of the itch but not completely. so took benadryl **** with it. she would shower and apply cream in the morning and take low does of benadryl **** at night before bed. she did this routine for 4 days. by the fifth day she no longer needed benadryl. the itch was almost completely gone and the rash stopped spreading. by the 8th day, the rash actually started receding. been taking 10 days now and cream keeps the itch away and rash is continuing to slowly recede. I just purchased more to continue. from what I have read, some fungi can take a long time to actually cure. I hope this info helps somebody.
